Louvre Saint-Honoré

2, place du Palais-Royal,
75001 Paris

Area
42 000 m²

Completed in 1852, this handsome complex has kept pace with the Paris economy. In 1855, the year of France's first Universal Exhibition, two businessmen, Alfred Chauchard and Auguste Hériot, with the help of capital from the Pereire brothers, founded the Grands Magasins du Louvre. This first example of such a business in Paris housed the Hôtel du Louvre, where the department stores served as a shopping arcade.

A century later, major companies began to set up offices here. In 1975, the Caisse des Retraites des Employés des Postes et Télécommunications bought the building, which had become vacant, and began work on a modern business centre with the Louvre des Antiquaires at its foot. Acquired by SFL in 1995, the Louvre Saint-Honoré has been renovated several times by SFL.

This building, in an exceptional location opposite the Louvre, offers vast functional floors with a surface area of 5,400 m²/floor. 20,000 m² of commercial space on the ground floor, ground floor and first floor are currently being restructured to accommodate the Fondation Cartier.

Delivery scheduled for 2024.
