What image should your employer's head office project?
Companies aren't going to inspire the new generation with rabbit hutches: they need to get out of the box! For us, the time has come for open campuses and totemic headquarters that express the soul and uniqueness of the company. For our generation, who are looking for meaning in the way we consume, form relationships and build our careers, the work environment plays a major role. It must be in line with the values and social mission that the company defends. For example, a company located in a fairly standardised, unwelcoming area will find it hard to fit in with our ambition to change the world.
How can these offices complement the use of teleworking?
When they return to the office, employees - and perhaps especially young people - need to feel that 'wow effect', which really makes them want to go to work. I imagine more spaces, open areas, a connection with nature to break the routine of working from home, and of course, high-quality equipment to serve employees: connections, furniture, the office has to offer a real plus compared with the conditions you find at home.
In a few years' time, what do you think the ideal office will look like?
I'd like an office close to green spaces, close to nature, bright, where you can go outside and have a meeting under a tree, for example. An office where personal services come in to help me during the day, to save me time. Tomorrow's office is a package of services that we can trust, to relieve the time pressure that is increasingly being put on our generation.
